Retouching an Image in Photoshop


I am going to show you how to retouch this image

1. Duplicate the base layer
2. Use the patch tool, Select a facial blemish and drag up to a clear spot


3. do that for all the facial errors


4. flatten the image
5. duplicate base
6. Go filter>noise>median with a radius of 7
7. add a vector mask, then fill it with black
8. brush over the skin with a gray, i used #aeaeae


9. flatten the image again
10. duplicate base
11. use the dodge tool on eyes
12. add a selective color layer, with the setting shown below


13. add a hue/saturation layer


And you should get something like this
