Gradient Maps in Photoshop

First I choose the picture I want to color, I chose a picture of Kristen Bell
Im now going to add a Gradient Map


I now open my gradient editor, Pick the gradient I want, I used one from Shadow of the Day


Click ok and then set the gradient to the blending mode you would like! I used hard light for this one


Now, I add another gradient, again from Shadow of the day, Set it to soft light and get a look like this

Multiple Gradients

Now, I click the gradient tool, chose a gradient, again from Shadow of the Day, and drag it over my canvas


Change the blending mode and you will get something like this


Now you can add gradient maps ontop of the main gradient. I used the 2 gradient maps I used earlyer in the tutorial and get something like this
